Thirsty Thursday Social at Drakes
Our first St. Louis Porsche Thirsty Thursday Social at Drake’s was exactly what the season needed — good people, great conversation, and a parking lot that casually doubled as a rolling Porsche showcase. There’s just something about seeing those silhouettes lined up under the lights that makes you stop mid-sentence and smile.
Drake’s gave us the perfect backdrop to reconnect after the holidays. New faces mixed with familiar ones, stories from winter projects were swapped, and more than a few “what’s next?” upgrades were quietly being planned over drinks. That’s what these socials are all about — keeping the passion alive and the friendships strong.
The highlight of the evening was a special presentation from our St. Louis Region Council Vice President honoring one of our own, Bricker Martin, for his dedication to engagement and growing our membership. Bricker’s commitment to welcoming new members, keeping conversations going, and making sure everyone feels included does not go unnoticed. Clubs don’t grow by accident — they grow because of people like him who consistently show up and invest their time and energy into the community.
It was a well-deserved moment of recognition and a great reminder of what makes our region special: it’s not just the cars — it’s the people behind the wheel.
